DIA-FREAKING-LOGUE

Come on people. It's not rocket science to do your dialogue correctly. This is GRAMMAR 101, people, pay attention in school!

You have to paragraph your dialogue correctly. Dialogue counts as a seperate paragraph. So when someone starts talking, you need to start a new line and indent, or just put a blank line in between. Either way is fine, but you HAVE to do one of these. Otherwise your story will end of looking like a big ugly jumble of text.

From now on I'm not validating anymore stories that have incorrect dialogue.

Efiction 2.0.1

Hey everyone,

We are now running eFiction v2.0.1. I have't explored everything yet, but there's sure to be lots more goodies for you all to play with. Hopefully it'll be more stable and all that good, and generally run better.

For now I have decided not to go ahead with my tenuous plan to make a PG-13 section. Things seem to be rolling along pretty well keeping the limit at PG. If anyone has any major objections or really wishes to petition for a PG-13 section, drop me an e-mail (knuxman@thesonicworld.net) and I'll most definitely take your thoughts into consideration.

Good stuff

Hey everyone who uses this:

I just validated a ton of new stories, so that's a lot more reading material for you guys. Stuff by Rapid, Stargazer .. other people too. I don't feel like getting all your names. Some of it looks like really quality stuff.

A big complaint I have with a lot of you guys is about dialogue. SPACE YOUR DIALOGUE CORRECTLY.

Something to look forward to: eFiction version 2 has been released, and it looks a lot nicer and cooler than this. I'll probably be upgrading soon. Also, when I do upgrade, I think I'll add a PG-13 section. We lose a lot of potential authors because everything has to be so toned down. In the new PG-13 section you'd be allowed to post slightly more mature content: more graphic description of fight scenes, and mild language.

That does not mean anyone will be able to post whatever they want. If people go crazy I'll get rid of it. But anyway, that's something to look forward to.

Updates and stuff

Hey everyone,

The fan fiction galleries are really going great nowadays. Things are picking up and we're getting a lot of submissions of great stuff.

One story I specifically want to mention is the "Awakening" series by SP Davis. I haven't read all of it, but his seems like very high-quality work. Definitely check this out if you have some free time.

Also, I've been trying to get to know some of you guys a little better. So don't feel too weirded out if I drop you an e-mail to talk about your work for a sec or something.

The last thing for today, I decided to create a genre, simply entitled "Other". I've noticed a lot of people submitting things as "philosophical/thought-piece" that aren't really that philosophical. I figure this might be because your story may not have a lot of acton, but also isn't very dramatic/romantice/poetic, etc. So hear you are, a new catetgory just for tales like this.

Influx!

Lots of new fan fiction lately.

Raiden has been submitting tons of stories, and they look pretty cool. You might want to read her work.

Just now I got a huge influx of fanfiction from this guy SP Davis. Like 10 chapters of his story. I read a little of it, and I like it.

Ton of updates

Just got a ton of updates in here at TSW's Fan Fiction Archive.

Raiden's Destiny made her reappearance with a bunch of new stuff. There's material in Worldbuilding, Sonic and Co., and the Poetry/Song sections from him. Good job Raiden!

Also, PrincessMayFreedom has joined, adding her new fan fiction, set in the Fleetway universe. Nice to have you here.

Not to mention Trueblue, submitting his story Oath of Fire as well. Welcome!

Finally, TULF (the ultimate life form) has added another segment in his story, This Machine. Check it out!
