Knuxman's Commentary
So the final version has now been realeased, and there are a ton of improvements. The game runs a lot smoother, and the gameplay is smooth and fast paced. The sound effects are great too, with background music that's nice but not annoying. It's pretty retro without a whole lot of new touches - you'll see the same bouncers, ring/life/speed shoe/shield boxes, etc., that you're familiar with. However there are some nice tweaks, such as cutscenes that keep the plot (yes, there is a pretty decent plot) moving and a save system. On top of that there are boss battles, a quality touch you don't always see in fan games. All in all it's a fun game, and look forward to more from TRD Games in the future.
