Well, blast from the past. Lots of good memories and folks here. I miss the old crew I knew, knuxman, wes, miffix, to name a few.
Glad to see the names of good old friends, I miss you lot.

Funnily enough, I came back here while working on bringing BGS back to life and just clicked on the old affiliates link.

Phillip "Tailsfanatic" here. So good to see messages from you all. The passage of time is a crazy thing isn't it? From operating a fan website out of our childhood bedrooms to being whole-ass adults. The internet may be a complex place, but long before Tumblr/insta/TikTok we were pioneering online community and friendships and showing how wonderful they have the potential to be.

I hope you all are happy and healthy. Be well, and say hello if you're ever in San Francisco!

Been a while since I used this username oml! Seeing this splash page live made me intensely emotional. Some people had Neopets or Gaia, but this is where I spent 80% of my online time in the 00s. I can't tell you how much you all impacted me. Love you all and wishing you love. I wasn't on staff, but I was enthusiastic in the art gallery and forums. Thank you for being my first stomp ground for writing and sharing my art with others. You were always so kind and receptive about it!

I absolutely loved this site. It was a place to find lifelong friends, be social, and such a good place for creativity to bloom in those earlier internet days. It was even the origin of where I met my life partner! Glad to see the old crew finding their way back after all this time!
