If you frequent the winding roads and shaded walkways of the Sonic World, you have surely noticed me around. I'm that guy sitting on the bench, right leg crossed over the left, reading a book while sipping at a silver mug engraved with a caffeine molecule. Or perhaps purchasing a yogurt muffin at the quaint coffee shop on the corner in the early hours of the morning. Remember that day last week when it started raining out of nowhere in the late afternoon? That person walking quickly down the sidewalk, yet oddly enough staring up at the sky? Right you are. That was me.

And so now you have come to this rarely visited corner, hoping to learn a little more about who I am as a person, to quench the cool yet unabating curiousity deep within you. No? Maybe you are just bored. That is certainly a possibility is well. All that side, a little about me.

I have been running The Sonic World with Tailsfanatic and others, supported by you faithful members of the Sonic community, since May 2002. I have grown substantially since that time, in more ways than I can possibly even myself realize. To say my motivations for maintaining this project are the same now as they were then would be dishonest. Back then I was a youth infatuated with one of the most classic, yet edgiest video game characters out there, the Blue Blur himself, and my devotion manifested itself in hours devoted to this online endeavour. But the inexorable advance of time changes passions, as it does all things. My feelings have waxed and waned, at times withered and died, only to be reborn again. Now they have cooled and been tempered into something more meaningful, more permanent. Sonic represents to me now the archetype of the hero. His ideals, his "steadfast heart of gold" will remain with me always, even if I do not get around to playing his video games so much these days.

And so, I will keep coming back to this site now and on into the future, to be around those who feel as I do. You may not see me around everyday as you make the rounds, browsing the Information Station Library or picking up the latest CD at the StH Music Store. But here and there you will see me around. And know I will always be here when you guys need me. My mailbox is always open to you my friends.
