Sonic Adventure DX. DX says it all, as it stands for Deluxe. Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is the new, improved with almost double the graphics, and majorly updated version of Sonic Adventure, which came out in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast. If you played Sonic Adventure, you know all about it. It was a mega-hit. It was for Sonic what Mario 64 was for Mario. The first real 3 Dimensional game, Sonic and friends moving and exploring in a lush 3D world full of wonder, adventure, and Danger..

But there's more to this version. This baby packs almost double the graphics. That's right, ALMOST DOUBLE! All those glitchy streets, signs, people, cars and more? Gone. All those sharp angels to Sonic's spikes and anything else that stuck out? Gone? All that clippling? Gone! Sonic and Friends look like an artist took some clay, and smoothed out all the jagged surfaces. Sonic and friends are cool, smooth, and more Way Past Cool than ever!

Now, on to the new features. Now, the main new feature is the new and improved graphics, but there's more. 50 missions! That's right, 50 new missions, in the new and exciting Mission Mode!

And you want to know what else? On top of Mission Mode, you've also get 12 new secret bonus games, which you can unlock in the form of Sega Game Gear titles! Sweet! Now tell me, does it get much better than this? Don't moan about how long it's going to be before Sonic Heroes comes out, go and get Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut ASAP! It's guaranteed to be one of the most way past cool Sonic the Hedgehog games yet!

(Most of us know the plot, but I'll sum it up for the few who don't.)

It all begins with an attack on the peaceful city-state of Station Square. Station Square is under attack by a strange water monster. Luckily, Sonic is on the scene and (with a little help from you) kicks the crap out of it. Just as the monster makes its oozing escape down a sewer, Eggman appears! He tells Sonic that this monster is called "Chaos". Eggman is going to try to use Chaos to take over the world! So Sonic and Co. are at it again. Collect the Chaos emeralds before Eggman can get them to power up Chaos, and get ready to save the world!
