Background

Sonic Heroes is the first all-new 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game since the Adventure series on the Sega Dreamcast. Combining retro with new age, it's long, winding stages with a set path sometimes seem like Sonic 1 for Genesis or Gamegear, only with depth added in to height and width. Four teams race to find Eggman, and each other, in the pulse pounding, fast action adventure game that is Sonic Heroes.

Storyline

Each team's story differs a bit. Team Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails the Fox, and Knuckles the Echidna), are off to find out what nefarious plans Eggman is up to this time. Team Rose (Amy Rose the Hedgehog, Cream the Rabbit, and Big the Cat) are off to find Sonic and his team. Team Shadow (Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, and E-102 Gamma) are looking for clues to Shadow's past, and Team Chaotix (Vector the Crocodile, Vector the Chameleon and Charmy Bee) are a detective team on assignment from a mysterious "voice". Off they go on the adventure of a lifetime.
