5/22/05 - Sonic Rush: English-speaking community EXCLUSIVE

TSW has scored a Sonic Rush English-speaking exclusive! Read on for more info:

For those of you who don't know Sonic Rush's background, it is a new game for the Nintendo DS announced at E3 a few days ago. The game is reported to use the DS's dual screens for a fast-paced vertically oriented thrill-ride. Gamespot.com says it better than I can:

"The game uses the two screens of the DS to give you a taller view of the action. You'll be jumping up to get to platforms on the upper screen and falling down to move down below numerous times in each level. This is a pretty cool use of the screens, which really makes the game feel larger and more frantic. "

The game's storyline is classic: You and a sidekick versus the evil bad guy. However, Sonic Rush puts a new twist on things. First, your sidekick isn't Tails this times, it's all new Blaze the Cat, bright and bushy tailed from an alternate dimension. Second, you're not trying to stop the badguy from stealing the Chaos Emeralds, instead, this time you're racing to get the "Sol Emeralds" - a n alternate dimension version of the Chaos Emeralds. Once more, I'll leave it to Gamespot to elaborate on this:....
